
PRIVACY POLICY OF THE ONLINE SHOP
§1
Privacy policy
- This Privacy Policy states the rules and scope TORPOL and the Online Store process personal data of the Users, the rights of Users and the obligations of TORPOL as the Data controller.
- The definitions contained in the Terms and Conditions of the TORPOL Online Store www.shop.torpol.com shall apply to this Privacy Policy accordingly. Words starting with a capital letter and corresponding to the definitions contained in §1 of the Terms and Conditions of the Online Store www.shop.torpol.com should be understood as described therein.

Data controller
TORPOL, as the entity offering the sale of Goods and Services via the Online Store and running the Online Store is the Data Controller of the personal data of the Users. The Online Store is run by TORPOL, a limited liability company based in Gdańsk (80-958) at ul. 1 Wały Piastowskie, National Court Register number (KRS) No. 0000039221, NIP 5830017529, REGON 001294558, with the share capital of PLN 83,350.
§3
Purpose of processing
TORPOL processes personal data of the User for the proper performance of the contracts concluded through the Online Store. This means means that the personal data is needed in particular for:
- User’s registration of the Account on the Website,
- placing an Order by the Customer and concluding a contract for the sale of the Goods,
- execution of the Order, including its delivery,
- settlements,
- using the Services by the User, including the Newsletter, provided that the User has agreed to receive the Newsletter,
- the use of the Customer’s complaint procedure as referred to in §10 of the Terms and Conditions,
- the use of the Customers’ right to withdraw from the Agreement as referred to in §11 of the Terms and Conditions.

Type of processed data
TORPOL processes the following personal data, as it is necessary for the provision of the following services:
1.for logging in to the Website and for the use of the Services:
- first name and last name,
- e-mail address,
- name of the account,
- contact telephone number (additionally)
- User's IP number.
- for Placing Orders and for Delivery of Goods:
- first name and last name,
- e-mail address,
- name of the account,
- In the case of a natural person - address data in the form of: street and house number, zip code, city, country,
- In case of a sole business trader, legal entity and incomplete legal entity (company) - address data in the form of: company name, tax identification number, street and house number, zip code, city, country,
- delivery address,
- User's IP number.
- for filing the complaint procedure by the User:
- first name and last name,
- e-mail address,
- name of the account,
- order number,
- date of placing the order
- other contact details, including telephone number.
§5
Legal basis for processing
- Users' personal data are processed in accordance with the provisions of the EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.
- The User's personal data is processed and made available to recipients on the basis of his prior consent, expressed at the time of registering the Account on the Online Store.
- Expressing consent to the processing of personal data is completely voluntary, however, the lack of consent makes it impossible to register the Account in the Online Store and limits access to Order placing, making purchases via the Online Store and Services.
- In connection with the processing of personal data by TORPOL, the User has the following rights:
- a) The User may withdraw his consent to the processing of personal data at any time - without giving any reason. The request may refer to the purpose of processing indicated by the User or to all processing purposes. Withdrawal of consent for all processing purposes will cause the User's Account on the Online Store to be deleted, and the User's personal data will not be processed and made available by TORPOL. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the activities performed before thereof. The user has the option to independently view the consents granted in the "MY ACCOUNT-MY CONSENT" tab and has the option of removing the Account by himself in the "MY ACCOUNT-DELETE ACCOUNT" tab.
- b) The User may from time to time request the deletion of his personal data without giving any reason. The request to delete the data will not affect the activities performed before thereof. By deleting the data, the User's Account on the Online Store will be deleted, and the User's personal data will not be processed and made available by TORPOL.
- c) The User may at any time object to the processing of his personal data, either in any way or for the purpose indicated. The objection will not affect the actions already performed. If an objection is raised, the User's Account on the Online Store will be deleted and the User's personal data will not be processed and made available by TORPOL.
- d) The User may from time to time request TORPOL to limit the processing of his personal data, either for a specified period or within a specified scope, and TORPOL shall be obliged to comply with the User's request. This request will not affect the activities performed before thereof.
- e) The User may at any time request TORPOL to correct or clarify the User's personal data. The user has the option of correcting or rectifying his data on his own in the "MY ACCOUNT - CHANGE MY DATA" tab.
- f) The User may at any time request TORPOL to transfer the User's data to another entity. For this purpose, please contact TORPOL via the e-mail address provided in § 7 below, providing the name and address of the entity to which TORPOL is to transfer the User's personal data as well as the scope thereof. The transfer will take place in electronic form after receiving the User request confirmation. Confirmation of the request is needed due to the security of the User's personal data and to ensure that the request comes from the person authorized by the User.
- g) The User may at any time request information from TORPOL on the scope of processing of the User's personal data.
- TORPOL is obliged to inform the User, no later than within one month of receiving each of the requests, about the actions taken by TORPOL in regard to the request.
§6
Data retention period
- The User's personal data is retained until the User Account is deleted. The account may be deleted by the User, as well as in the event of the User's withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data, an objection to the processing of personal data or a request by the User to delete them.
- After deleting the Account, TORPOL and the Online Store will only leave information permitted by law.

Entrusting data processing and data recipients
- TORPOL may entrust the processing of personal data to entities cooperating with TORPOL, to the extent necessary for the provision of the Services.
- Users' personal data, apart from the purposes indicated in this Privacy Policy, will not be disclosed to Third Parties in any way, and in particular, the personal data of the User will not be transferred to other entities for the marketing purposes of third parties.
- Users' personal data are not transferred outside the European Union.

Cookies
- The Online Store uses "cookies". Cookies are small files that enable the device used to browse the Internet (e.g. computer, smartphone, etc.) to remember specific information about the device used by the User. Information recorded in cookies is used, i.a., for purposes advertising and statistical purposes and to adapt the Online Shop to the individual needs of Users.
- Cookies are used by the Online Store in order to:
- a) adjusting the content of the Online Store to Users' preferences and optimizing the use of the Online Store; in particular, these files allow to recognize the User's device and properly display the Online Store, tailored to the individual needs of the User;
- b) creating statistics that help to understand how the User uses the Online Store, which allows for the improvement of its structure and content.
- TORPOL uses two types of cookies: "session" cookies and "persistent" cookies. Session cookies are temporary files that are stored on the end device until they leave the Online Store or turn off the software (web browser). Persistent cookies are stored on the end device for the time specified in the cookie file parameters or until they are deleted.
- The Local Storage and Session Storage variables (collectively called Web Storage) are similar to cookies, with the difference that the browser does not send them to the Online Store every time. Both cookies and Web Storage variables can be deleted after closing the User's browser (session cookies and Session Storage variables) or stored longer (Local Storage variables).
- The Website uses the following types of cookies:
- a) "necessary" cookies, enabling the use of services available on the Website, e.g. authentication cookies used for services that require authentication in the Online Store;
- b) cookies used to ensure security, e.g. used to detect fraud in the field of authentication within the Website;
- c) "performance" cookies, enabling the collection of information on how to use the Online Store;
- d) "functional" cookies, enabling "remembering" the settings selected by the User and personalizing the interface, e.g. in terms of the selected language or region from which the User comes, font size, appearance of the Online Store, etc.
- If the User does not want cookies to be installed on his device, he may not consent to the installation of cookies in the following way:
- a) In Microsoft Edge browser: select "Settings" from the main menu, and then "Display advanced settings" and specify the privacy level in the "Privacy and services" section,
- b) In Mozilla Firefox: select "Tools" from the menu, and then "Options" and specify the level of privacy in the "Privacy" section,
- c) In the Opera browser: select the "Tools" item from the menu, then "Advanced" from the "Preferences" item, and then "Cookies",
- d) In the Google Chrome browser: from the menu on the right, select "Options", then " Advanced Settings" and "Cookie settings",
- e) In Safari: in the Settings menu, select the "Safari" item, and then in the Privacy and Protection section, select "Block cookies".
The above methods of refusing consent may change. Additionally, these are only the most common examples of the browser. In most browsers, this type of information on cookies can be found in the "Tools" or "Options" menu.
Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available in the Online Store.

Data protection declaration of Google Analytics
The website uses Google Inc.'s web service analysis mechanisms. ("Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA"): Google Analytics, Google Double Click and Google Tag Manger. Google Analytics, Google Double Click and Google Tag Manger use cookies that enable an analysis of the use of websites. Information collected by cookies is transferred to Google servers located in the USA and archived.
If the IP anonymization function is enabled when using the Online Store, the User's IP address is shortened by Google. This applies to the Member States of the European Union and other countries listed in the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. In this way, the IP anonymization function will be active in the Online Store. At the request of the Website operator, Google uses the collected information to analyze the use of the Online Store by Users, to prepare reports on the use of the Online Store and other services related to the use of the Internet. The IP address provided by the User's browser as part of the Google Analytics program is not stored together with other Google data.
The User can block the saving of cookies in the web browser. However, in this case, you will not be able to fully use all the functions of the website.
